The Eastland group was formed in 1949 through The grace of God
and The direction of Alcoholics Anonymous. It has changed location
from time to time, and it has flourished and almost diminished at
times. Through personal sacrifice, The love for The suffering
alcoholic, and The direction of a power greater than ourselves it has
survived The test of time. This is a place where miracles are
frequent. Its greatest assets are The spiritual blessings of those who
are willing to attend meetings and carry The message of hope to The
suffering. The only requirement to attend is a desire to stay sober.
